Celebrating Anand Chokshi

Anand Chokshi, a beloved member of our HUB community, passed away unexpectedly last week in his sleep. His passing came as a shock to friends and family. Anand has been a part of The HUB community from the beginning. Indeed, he was a part of the community before there was a HUB. Like many of our faculty, Anand started his journey at Monarch, where he began studying in 2007, and where he first met Coach.  Anand joined The HUB as one of the first members of the Life 101 program. Through his participation in 101, Anand earned a job at SMITH in 2018. In 2020 he became a full-time employee there. Anand continued to be an active participant in Club HUB, where he was much loved for his kindness, sharp wit and sense of humor.

Anand’s family and many friends gathered to celebrate his life on Sunday, October 20. We will all miss Anand greatly, but also know that he is still here through the depth of his connection to so many in the community.

Anand’s family is still gathering tributes to Anand here. If you would like to share a memory or a photo please do so soon. The Tribute page will be up for a couple more weeks.

The video below shares some highlights of Anand’s time with The HUB. We miss you Anand!!!
