THE HUB HIGH SCHOOL
About our school
At The HUB Houston, we strive to create a welcoming, joyful learning community for students in grades 8–12 where every individual is valued, respected, and celebrated for who they are. Meaningful relationships are at the heart of our school culture, providing students with opportunities to build connections, develop social confidence, and experience a true sense of belonging while continuing to grow academically.
We recognize that success looks different for every learner. Our goal is not simply to help students earn credits toward graduation, but to empower them to become lifelong learners, self-advocates, problem-solvers, and contributing members of their communities. Every lesson, project, and relationship is designed to help students discover their gifts and realize their potential.
The HUB High School students continue to expand their horizons after graduation. Acceptance in Life 101 is guaranteed for all HUB High School graduates and while most graduates attend The HUB's Life 101 transition program to take part in further internships, employment and life skills courses, other recent HUB graduates have enrolled in college (University of Houston, College of the Mainland, Oklahoma University, St. Thomas University, Texas A&M). Still other graduates have gone straight into the job market. High school staff and faculty work with seniors to help them find opportunities that further their goals and strengths.
At The HUB, every person has the right to be Heard, Understood, and Believed in—and every student deserves an education that recognizes both their potential and their unique way of learning.
The HUB High School is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Hands on learning
While relationships are the foundation of everything we do, academics are equally important. We believe that every student can learn, grow, and achieve when taught in ways that honor their unique strengths and learning styles. Our innovative, project-based academic program brings learning to life through hands-on experiences, real-world applications, collaboration, and meaningful exploration. Students are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, ask questions, and make connections between what they learn in the classroom and the world around them.
Our low student-to-teacher ratio allows for personalized support and engaging, strengths-focused learning experiences. Our exceptional faculty members understand how neurodiverse learners learn best. They have the gift of breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, providing individualized support, and creating innovative learning opportunities that help students experience success. Through patience, flexibility, and high expectations, they help students build both academic skills and confidence in their abilities.
