Adrienne Thorp
Program Director, Life 101

Adrienne Thorp has spent most of her life in Houston! She earned her B.S. in Sociology and Criminology from The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Her passion for working with individuals with diverse needs began early—during high school and college, she served as a caregiver and aide for young individuals.

With over 25 years of professional experience, Adrienne has dedicated her career to supporting school-aged children and young adults. One of her primary focuses is employability and job readiness. She works closely with individuals, businesses, and the broader community to create paid, volunteer, and internship opportunities, with the goal of helping HUB Members achieve meaningful, competitive employment.

Adrienne finds daily inspiration in witnessing the growth and success of the young adults she works with. She values the strong community partnerships that make this work possible and is passionate about building connections that support lasting change.

Adrienne is married and a proud mother to two wonderful children, Owen and Ellis. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is deeply involved in her local community. For Adrienne, being part of The HUB Houston faculty for the past 10 years has been more than just a job—it feels like family. She is proud to be part of a place where people are are heard, understood and believed in.
