Tom Ricker
Tom Ricker, a Miami native, relocated to Houston in 2008. Tom has 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and communications. His work for most of those years was as Program Director at the Maryland-based Quixote Center, focusing on human rights and policy advocacy in partnership with community organizations in Haiti, Nicaragua and Mexico. He has also worked at the Rothko Chapel and St. Stephen’s Episcopal School here in Houston. Tom holds a PhD in Political Science and has taught at multiple universities and colleges as a part-time instructor. He came to The HUB through his son, Benny, who is a High School HUBSTER! Tom loves going to see the Astros with Benny, and can usually be found playing his guitar when not at school.
