Wendy Richards

Wendy Richards is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a BA in Elementary Education, a minor in Psychology and M.Ed. Special Education. Wendy is a native of Houston, and has lived and worked in Corpus Christi, Austin, and most recently Sacramento and Folsom, California.

Ms. Richards has over thirty years of experience working with special needs children, having worked as a teacher, a Behavior Consultant and a Social Skills Therapist. Her training includes Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Elementary Education, Early Childhood Developmental training, Integrated Play Group Therapy, Social Thinking and extensive workshops and training in social skills development.

Wendy is the mother of two wonderful grown sons and enjoys music, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Wendy believes The HUB is the perfect place to combine her skills in social skills development and teaching, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of such a unique and innovative program!
