Colleen Russo, affectionately known as “Coach,” brings 45 years of experience in education, with the past 25 years devoted to serving the neurodiverse community. Born and raised in Queens, New York, she began her career as a physical education teacher and quickly found her passion in coaching and mentoring young people.

Before co-founding The HUB Houston, Colleen spent 17 years at The Monarch Institute, supporting students as they built connections, developed life skills, and found community.

In 2015, Colleen co-founded The HUB Houston with a vision to create a space where every young person is Heard, Understood, and Believed in. Now celebrating the completion of the 10th year, The HUB continues to thrive as a dynamic community where neurodiverse individuals are empowered to grow, build relationships, and make meaningful contributions to the world.
