Year 10 has started off as wonderful as we anticipated!! As the new school year begins, we were thrilled to welcome back our students and families who have been off for the summer. Our Staff and Artisans at Aspire have been working hard all summer and have created some amazing new products. We are eager to embark on this journey of learning, growth, and discovery together. Let's make this year one of positivity, progress, and shared success. Here's to a fantastic year ahead!!!!
As we completed our Strategic Plan, we would like to let you know that we have taken your feedback very seriously. We heard you say that you would like more opportunity for parental involvement. We have set up some really cool invitations for everyone for the month of September. I hope that you will be able to join us!
On Thursday, Sept. 5th, our friend Joshua Webb from Crime Stoppers will be hosting a Zoom at 6PM on the topic of Cyber Safety. Our HUBsters will be having a similar presentation on Friday the 6th. On Friday Sept 13th, please join us for our Annual Parent Social! This is a great time to meet other parents, mingle with staff and just enjoy some adult time. This will be held at our Dow Rd campus, 5237 Dow Rd. 77040. You should have received an invite to this event. If you have not please reach out to Kipp Baxter at kipp@thehubhouston.org.
On Wednesday, Sept. 25th, we are hosting a guest speaker, Michelle Howard-Herbein, she will be presenting " Work is the Goal—Understanding the Impact of Working on SSI/SSDI” We know this is such an important and confusing topic for all of us .Michelle is the CEO/Executive Director of Summer House. Please join us at 5237 Dow Rd, 77040 at 6:30.
